"In each yoga, we invoke the Strong" - The Archaeological search for Yoga.

The talk, given in a light, engaging and easy to understand manner, deals with the archaeological finds related to Yoga, finds which help understand the origins of Yoga. Beginning with the Indus Valley Culture, through the Vedic texts and up to Buddha. A fun talk, given by a Yoga practicing expert archaeologist, encompassing 4000 years of archaeology and Yoga.

About the lecturer

Gali Jaffe is an archaeologist with a B.A. & M.A. in Archeology from Tel Aviv University, and over 20 years of experience as a field archaeologist and lecturer, specializing in making archeology accessible to the general public.

She lives in Berlin with her family and guides tours in the city and all the archaeological and historical museums of the city, as well as other European cities.
